3KE set to perform at PICRC’s 24th Anniversary Fundraising Gala Dinner
The Palau International Coral Reef Center (PICRC) is excited to announce that 3KE – Kendall Titiml, Kelau Remeliik, Ngerchelei Titiml and Kayama Shiro – will provide live entertainment at its 24th Anniversary Fundraising Gala Dinner on January 23, 2025, at PICRC grounds.
3KE brings together some of Palau’s most celebrated artists: Kendall Titiml, a renowned Palauan singer-songwriter who won first prize at the PICRC’s PNMS Song Challenge in 2022 with his song “Tal Ngimech”; Kelau Remeliik, another beloved Palauan singer-songwriter who won the most popular song prize for “PNMS a di kloklek”; Ngerchelei Titiml, a versatile singer known for her mastery of both Palauan and English songs and a deep passion for music; and Kayama Shiro, a highly regarded organist in Palau.
The evening will be hosted by Maikani Mereng Andres, one of PICRC’s dedicated researchers, and cohosted by the Organization of State Speakers.
This year’s theme, ‘Resilient Ocean, Resilient Community’, acknowledges the vital connection between healthy oceans and the well-being of Palauan people. Funds raised through this gala support PICRC’s research and educational programs that help protect Palau’s marine ecosystems and empower local communities to become stewards of the ocean.
Tickets are officially sold out. For those unable to attend in person, you can still be part of the celebration by tuning in live on Palau Wave Radio 89.9 FM. You can also donate by contacting our Administration office at (680) 488-6950/6953 or emailing [email protected]
Join us for an unforgettable evening of fine dining, live music, and celebration as we mark 24 years of PICRC’s commitment to ocean resilience and community well-being!
