PICRC Welcomes Nolan Rebluud as New Communications and Outreach Officer

The Palau International Coral Reef Center (PICRC) is pleased to welcome Nolan Rebluud as its new Communications and Outreach Officer.

Nolan most recently served as Project Assistant for the PICRC-JICA Coastal Project, which concluded in February 2025. His seamless transition into this new role reflects his strong commitment and deep familiarity with PICRC’s mission and programs.

Before joining PICRC, Nolan held several key positions within the Government of Palau, including Special Assistant to the Vice Speaker of the House of Delegates, Foreign Service Officer at the Ministry of State, and First Secretary at Palau’s Embassy in the Philippines. He also served as a Compliance and Safety Officer for the Koror State Government. With a robust background in public service and stakeholder engagement, Nolan brings valuable insight and experience to PICRC’s outreach efforts.

Eager to broaden his knowledge of marine science and science communication, Nolan is committed to continuous learning and professional growth. He strives to be a dependable, proactive member of the team.

“Nolan has already made significant contributions, from organizing our Berius el Chais radio segments to coordinating outreach events, internships, and other programs,” said Imade Tellei, PICRC’s Director of Outreach. “He’s been a valuable addition to the team, and we’re excited to see what he’ll accomplish next.”

PICRC is proud to support Nolan in his new role as he helps bridge science and education through engaging and impactful outreach initiatives across Palau.
