Community Activities
PICRC actively engages with the community through outreach events, fairs, and educational presentations that promote ocean awareness and conservation.
Our team regularly participates in community fairs, hosts festivals and film screenings, and attends community meetings, sharing information about Palau’s marine environment and the work being done to protect it. These activities provide hands-on learning opportunities for all ages — from interactive displays and games to live demonstrations and conversations with our researchers.
PICRC also offers presentations and talks for schools, government agencies, and community groups upon request. Topics range from coral reef ecology and climate change to marine conservation and sustainable fisheries.
If you’d like PICRC to participate in your event or provide a presentation, please contact us at [email protected] to make a request — we’d love to collaborate in supporting ocean education and stewardship across Palau.
