Kendall Titiml and Kelau Remeliik set to perform at PICRC’s 22nd Anniversary Fundraising Dinner Gala
Palau International Coral Reef Center (PICRC) will be holding its largest, and most significant event of the year on January 26, 2023. The PICRC annual Anniversary Fundraising Dinner Gala is an event that helps raise funds for research and educational programs carried out by the Center. This year, the gala will be hosted by President Surangel Whipps, Jr. and Ambassador Jessica C. Lee of the Republic of China-Taiwan Embassy. This fundraising event aims to bring partners and supporters together for an enjoyable night celebrating the anniversary of Palau’s very own research center.
To help guarantee a memorable evening, attendees at the dinner gala will be entertained by two of Palau’s most talented artists, Kendall Titiml and Kelau Remeliik. During the dinner, the duo will perform some chill-laid back music, setting a pleasant and soothing ambience. As the night progresses, and people get settled in, the duo plans to boost it up with more upbeat music selections.
Kendall and Kelau will also perform their original compositions about the Palau National Marine Sanctuary (PNMS). Kendall won first place in the PNMS song contest and will be performing his winning song “Tal Ngimch”. Kelau, won the “most popular song”, and will be performing her winning song, titled, “PNMS a di kloklek”.
The fundraising dinner will be held on PICRC’s grounds and will be broadcast live by Palau Wave Radio.
